Distilled Water is the most effective moisturizer. Curly hair is naturally drier than our straight counterparts so we have to rely on moisturizers. Water can keep frizz away so that you may achieve those perfectly defined curls. 

Lavender Hydrosol is aromatic water. Lavender is steamed distilled leaving the plant’s water-soluble components behind. This is a gentler and safer version of essential oils. You get all the benefits of the plant in a water-based solution.

D Panthenol is a natural ingredient that aids in moisturizing curly hair. This humectant, moisturizer, and emollient are highly effective at moisture retention within the hair. Another way D Panthenol works is by coating hair strands giving the appearance of glossy curls. The coating can also provide slip between strands making detangling easier.  

Glycerin is a natural conditioner that hydrates hair while also making the hair softer and frizz-free. This is one of the most widely used humectants. It works by pulling moisture out of the air into your hair strands.

Hydrolyzed Wheat Protein can strengthen the hair by reducing the hair porosity. This allows the hair to be able to receive and retain moisture. Hair that can retain moisture is less likely to break, has less frizz, and reduces tangles that may result in breakages. Hydrolyzed Wheat Protein is the main ingredient that strengthens the hair shaft.

Decyl Glucoside & Cocomidopropyl Betaine are mild natural surfactants used in cleansing solutions. They are responsible for cleansing the hair. These two ingredients are what give the shampoo its foaming capabilities.

Directions: The Hydrating Cleansing Shampoo is the first step in our Mango Intensive Wash & Go Set.  Section hair and saturate with water. Apply small amounts of shampoo to the scalp and the entire hair shaft.  Follow with a scalp massage to break up dirt and dandruff that may be stuck to the scalp. After this rinse your hair thoroughly. Follow with Detangling Conditioner and weekly deep conditioner.
